Marquisha Williams appointed to WofA Board of Trustees

Women of Asphalt (WofA) is excited and proud to announce the appointment of Marquisha Williams to its Board of Trustees. Williams is a Safety Representative for Milestone Contractors in the Richmond/Portland area of Indiana. Along with her passion for WofA, Williams brings to the board more than 17 years of experience in the asphalt industry in various field roles.

When asked about her role on the WofA Board, Williams said, “The one thing I would like to accomplish is to encourage women that even if you are told, ‘No,’ to never get discouraged and give up.” Williams continued, “Never water yourself down to fit a certain group of people. Your authentic self is what gets you further in this industry.”

“The WofA Board of Trustees enthusiastically welcomes Marquisha Williams and is eager to begin working with her on initiatives to strengthen the industry,” said Amy Miller, WofA Board President. “Marquisha’s experience and perspective will be an invaluable addition to the board and to advancing WofA’s mission.”
