Here is the link to register for the 3rd Session for the Women of Asphalt Colorado's Training Academy.

In this session, we will be training you to be able to pass the LabCat A certification.

Here is the information you need to know.

What is LabCAT Level A? - Commonly called CAPA A; LABCAT Level A is centered

around Laydown of Asphalt

What does LabCAT Level A allow you to do?

Perform the following tasks on any CDOT project:

1. CP30 – Sampling Aggregate

2. CP41 – Sampling Asphalt Mix

3. CP 44B – Bulking Roadway Cores

4. CP 81 – In-Place Density by Nuclear Method

How long does it last? - This certification last for 3 years.

What does this certification consist of?

• Prerequisite Form (60 days of experience)

• Written examination

• Followed by laboratory proficiency

How do you get this Certification?

• If an employer will sign off on your prerequisite form, show up on October 21st, 2023, for the certification session.

• If training is required you must attend the August 12th, 2023, session where Women of Asphalt will sign the

prerequisite form. You can then attend the October 21st, 2023, certification session.

• Women of Asphalt is paying for your certification. - The value of this certification is $225.
