Meet Our Founding Members

ASHLEY BATSON, JD

Ashley Batson joined Ingevity as the Manager of Government Relations, Road Construction, in 2021. Prior to that, Ashley served as the SC Asphalt Pavement Association as Executive Director for ten years. She began her career as a federal judicial law clerk and then worked in private practice before transitioning to government relations and association management.

Ashley earned a Juris Doctorate from the Charleston School of Law in 2007. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Spanish from Clemson University in 2003.

She lives in Columbia, South Carolina, with her husband Will and their two sons, William Wade and Wells.

 

AUDREY COPELAND, PHD, PE

Audrey Copeland joined the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) in 2012. In January of 2019 she was promoted to the position of President & CEO. She began her career as a highway engineer at the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and then went on to be a highway materials research engineer at FHWA’s Turner Fairbank Highway Research Center where she managed asphalt-related research laboratories and projects.

Audrey earned a PhD in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University in 2007 and Master and Bachelor of Science degrees in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Tennessee Technological University. She is a registered engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the State of Maryland.

Audrey lives in Kensington, Maryland, with her husband, Jose Albertini, and their children Marco and Jorie.

 

AMY MILLER, PE, MBA

Amy Miller is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Environmental Engineering and a Master of Business Administration. She is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Florida. Immediately out of college she worked as a civil engineer eventually transitioning to a sales engineer role then onto a key account manager position. She currently serves as the National Director for the Asphalt Pavement Alliance.

Amy resides in northeast Florida with her husband and three children.

 

NATASHA OZYBKO

Natasha Ozybko graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and is currently working toward earning her MBA. She has made a career in Sales and Marketing starting out in textiles, then medical device, before moving into the asphalt industry in 2012. She joined Road Science in 2017 and was the Regional Sales Manager leading a team responsible for sales covering the western half of the United States. In 2021, she founded and launched Moxy: The Voice of Women In Infrastructure.

Natasha is a four time Ironman triathlete and currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia.

 

TRACIE SCHLICH

A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Tracie Schlich has been a marketer all her life from retail management to Vice President of Account Services at a regional marketing firm where she lead the account service team and directed the marketing for a thoroughbred sales company and race course. She has been the Director of Marketing and Membership with the Asphalt Institute for the past eight years.

In her spare time, Tracie loves to travel and spend time with her husband, Irish Wolfhound, Oliver, and two grown children.
