Caterpillar Paving Operator Training: Exclusive Women’s Cohort

Women of Asphalt and Caterpillar are bringing together 12 women from across the asphalt industry for an exclusive, all-female Paving Operations Training experience this December!

Six participants have been selected as WofA x Caterpillar scholarship recipients. Now, we're inviting Women of Asphalt members and their companies to reserve the six remaining paid training seats and help us complete this year's cohort.

This four-day program combines classroom instruction, hands-on paving experience and the opportunity to build meaningful connections with women across the industry.

About the Training

Participants will spend their mornings in the classroom and afternoons gaining hands-on paving experience with Caterpillar instructors.

Throughout the program, participants will have the opportunity to:

• Strengthen their technical knowledge of paving operations.

• Gain practical, hands-on experience with paving equipment.

• Learn alongside 11 other women from across the asphalt industry.

• Build professional relationships and bring valuable new knowledge back to their organizations.

Who Should Attend?

This training is open to Women of Asphalt members interested in developing or expanding their knowledge of paving operations.

Whether you're investing in an emerging operator, developing an employee's technical expertise or expanding your own understanding of paving operations, this program offers an opportunity to learn directly from Caterpillar instructors.

Registration & Availability

6 paid seats

The six remaining seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis to Women of Asphalt members. Companies may purchase more than one seat.

Registration includes:

• Four days of Caterpillar Paving Operations Training and course materials.
• Additional expenses: Attendees are responsible for their own travel, lodging and transportation.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

Course fees are due in full upon registration.

Cancellations received 16 - 30 days before the first date of training are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations received 15 days or less before the training are non-refundable (100% cancellation fee). 

Travel & Accommodations

Training takes place at Caterpillar's Tinaja Hills Learning and Demonstration Center in Green Valley, Arizona, approximately one hour south of Tucson International Airport.

Caterpillar recommends the following nearby hotels:

• Hilton Garden Inn, Tucson Airport

• Marriott TownePlace Suites, Tucson Airport

• Canoa Ranch Resort, Green Valley

There is no Caterpillar-managed group hotel rate. Rental cars are recommended for transportation to the facility. Additional arrival instructions and required visitor pre-registration information will be provided to participants before training.
