WOMEN OF ASPHALT ANNOUNCES 2026 BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Fleming Island, Florida — Women of Asphalt (WofA) is excited to announce the appointment of three exceptional leaders to its 2026 Board of Directors. Aletheia Silcott (Astec Industries), Michelle Lowe (Asphalt Institute), and Luiza Barros (Texas Materials) bring extensive industry expertise, strategic insight, and a shared commitment to empowering women across the asphalt industry.

Aletheia Silcott, Global Vice President of Human Resources at Astec Industries, brings extensive executive leadership experience across human resources, finance, and organizational change, supporting workforce development and leadership advancement across the industry.

Michelle Lowe, Vice President of Marketing and Membership at the Asphalt Institute, brings more than 25 years of experience in marketing, communications, and member engagement, with a strong focus on professional growth and industry connection. 

Luiza Barros, Director of Quality Advancement at Texas Materials, a CRH Company, contributes a strong technical foundation, licensed engineering expertise, and proven leadership across quality, materials, and technical services.

The 2026 Board of Directors will help guide the organization’s strategic priorities and initiatives, including expanding mentorship and education programs, strengthening industry partnerships, and increasing opportunities for women to lead and thrive in the asphalt sector.

The newly appointed 2026 board members join WofA’s leadership team in working to elevate women across all facets of the industry and to create pathways for growth, innovation, and collaboration.
