From Opportunity to Impact - Angie Hogan
Member Monday Spotlight: Angie Hogan
Less than three years ago, Angie Hogan knew very little about the asphalt industry. Today, she's helping customers solve complex challenges, leading Women of Asphalt Texas, and inspiring others to discover a career they may have never considered.
What started as an opportunity with McCourt Equipment quickly became something much bigger.
"The more I learned about the industry's impact and the people behind it, the more I knew this was where I wanted to grow my career," Angie shared.
Today, Angie serves as an Equipment Sales Territory Manager at McCourt Equipment, where she helps customers solve challenges, build lasting partnerships, and keep projects moving forward. While many people see equipment sales, Angie sees something much more meaningful.
"It may look like a sales role on the surface, but it's really about people and trust," she said. "I'm not just providing equipment, I'm building relationships, solving real challenges, and helping my customers make decisions that impact their business and their future."
That same passion for people extends beyond her work at McCourt Equipment.
This year, Angie is serving as Chair of Women of Asphalt Texas, helping lead a growing community dedicated to supporting, developing, and empowering women across the asphalt industry.
"Serving as the Women of Asphalt Texas Chair has given me the opportunity to lead alongside an incredibly talented group of women who bring forward great ideas and a shared vision for the future," she shared. "It's not just about connection; it's about creating opportunities, making a lasting impact, and paving the way for the next generation."
Although she's still early in her own asphalt journey, Angie hopes others won't hesitate to explore the opportunities the industry has to offer.
"Don't be intimidated. Just get started," she encourages. "Stay curious, ask questions, find mentors, and keep learning. This industry needs fresh perspectives and the next generation of leaders."
In less than three years, Angie has gone from discovering a new career to helping shape its future. Her journey is a reminder that leadership isn't measured by years of experience - it's measured by a willingness to learn, serve, and invest in others.
