Women of Asphalt (WofA) was honored to keynote the Asphalt Institute Spring Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona, bringing workforce development and industry collaboration to the forefront of the conversation.

The asphalt industry continues to face workforce challenges, making it more important than ever to attract, develop, and retain talented professionals.

During the session, Women of Asphalt shared updates on the organization's continued growth and impact, highlighting efforts to support women across every stage of their careers through education, leadership development, mentorship, and community.

The program also featured a panel discussion moderated by Reed Ryan, President of the Asphalt Institute, with Lisa Zenter (Crafco), Lora Collins (Marathon Petroleum and WofA Board Member), Brooke De Vincezi (bp Asphalt), and Seth Hankowski (All States Materials Group, 2026 Asphalt Institute Board Chair, and WofA National Partner).

Together, they shared perspectives on attracting, retaining, and advancing talent, while also discussing why investing in organizations like Women of Asphalt is critical to strengthening the future of our industry.
